Blossom Academy was founded in 2023 with a heartfelt vision to create more than just a child care center—it was created to be a place where children are seen, valued, and given the tools to thrive. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and serving surrounding communities, Blossom Academy provides high-quality child care in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment designed to meet children where they are and help them grow with confidence.

As an early childhood educator, our founder witnessed firsthand the disparities that exist in education, particularly for African American children. Those experiences inspired the creation of Blossom Academy—a space rooted in fairness, opportunity, and educational excellence for all children. Every child deserves access to quality learning experiences, consistent care, and educators who genuinely believe in their potential. At Blossom Academy, we are committed to closing gaps by providing equitable education, nurturing guidance, and a strong foundation during the most critical years of development.

Our programs include infant care, daycare, preschool and Pre-K, after-school programs, evening and second-shift care, summer camp, and transportation services. We incorporate a Creative Curriculum, provide nutritious meals, and offer enrichment opportunities that support academic, social, and emotional growth. Most importantly, we partner with families to ensure each child receives the encouragement, structure, and care they need to blossom—today and for years to come.

Our Services include:

Infant & Child Care (Daycare): Blossom Academy provides safe, nurturing child care for infants through school-age children. Our classrooms are designed to support each stage of development in a warm, engaging environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Preschool & Pre-K Programs: Our Preschool and Pre-K programs prepare children for kindergarten through structured learning, hands-on activities, and social development. Using a Creative Curriculum, we focus on early literacy, math, problem-solving, independence, and confidence—giving children a strong foundation for their next educational steps.
Creative Curriculum: We utilize a Creative Curriculum approach that promotes learning through play, exploration, and discovery. Lessons are developmentally appropriate and support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth while fostering creativity and a love for learning.
School-Age & After-School Care: Blossom Academy offers dependable care for school-age children before and after the school day. Our After-School Program includes supervision, enrichment activities, homework support, and time to unwind in a structured, supportive setting.
After-School Charter Pickup & Transportation: For added convenience, we provide after-school charter pickup and field trip transportation for enrolled school-age children. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their child is transported safely and reliably to and from Blossom Academy activities.
Extended Hours & Evening Care: We understand that families have varying work schedules. Our extended care options include 2nd shift and evening care, offering flexible solutions for parents who need care beyond traditional daytime hours.
Summer Camp Program: Our Summer Camp keeps children engaged and active while school is out. The program features themed weeks, creative projects, outdoor play, and enrichment activities that make summer both fun and educational.
Nutritious Meals & Snacks: Children at Blossom Academy receive healthy, well-balanced meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and PM snacks, depending on their schedule. We focus on providing nutritious options that support growing bodies and active minds.
Payment Assistance & Vouchers: We accept childcare vouchers and work with families to help make quality care accessible and affordable. Our team is happy to assist with questions regarding eligibility and enrollment.

What Ages Do You Provide Childcare To?

We provide childcare for a wide range of age groups to support families at every stage. Our programs serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, with age-appropriate activities designed to promote learning, development, and overall well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.

Do you provide meals?

Yes! Nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily to ensure children stay energized and healthy throughout the day.

Do You Provide Transportation Services?

Transportation is offered through a chartered company to and from school. **Do not offer to preschoolers**

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30am-12am, with flexible hours including evening care options to support working families.

Do you Provide Summer Camp?

Yes! At Blossom Academy, we offer engaging summer camps designed to support the whole child—academically, physically, and emotionally. Our programs include sports, cheer, dance, basketball, early literacy, swimming, and educational field trips. Each camp blends learning, wellness, and fun in a safe, supportive environment where children can grow, stay active, and build confidence all summer long.
